About my parents
Kasi nadar was born a remote village called ATTRANGARAI situated 4 kms off Karisalkulam another small town located on the road leading from Aruppukkottai to vilathikulam via pudur.
Had his primary studies in his native place for 3 years-upto 3rd std.
Good in arithmatic,tables of 1/16,1/32 of a rupee.Left at the age of 15 from his native place and settled in virudhunagar.
A self learner ,he is, has learnt the art of making 'sevu',a rustic savoury delicacy made from riceflour,chillie,cinnamon,salt and made as a past3e with water handmixed and pressed through a metallic laddle with perforations,The pressed material is allowed to fall straight onto the hot oil fueled with huskis of peanut and other local firewoods burning at the bottom of the metallic container of about 30" diameter!.
The same laddle is used to turn the boiling 'sevu'from the oil to evenout the boiling and the process is continued till a stuff attains goldedn brown colour.
The mass is collected from the same laddle,oil gets drained through the holes on the laddle and after drying it is ekptied on a thin basket made of thin bamboo sticks.
MARRIAGE
At his age of 24,(1936) He married Balammal, daughter of Madasamy nadar/thenammal of Perilovanpatti a village about 3 Kms at the other side of the riverVAIPPAR which flows at the outskirt of Attrangarai.

Balammal is one among the three girls and five boys born to Madasamy nadar.(this will be expanded as and when needed)
